Matthew Eatough

Group Chief Executive Officer

Matthew has had a long-term interest in making businesses more profitable. In the early 1990s, he turned around and sold a leveraged buy-out. In the process, he found that one of the key levers of success in the company's transformation was better procurement. Matthew decided to take this and make a business of it: Proxima, the leading procurement specialist and outsourcer, is the result.

Jonathan Cooper-Bagnall

Executive Vice President

Jonathan Cooper-Bagnall is a business leader and entrepreneur, with over 20 years of building and running successful businesses. Jonathan is responsible for the commercial direction of the firm and delivering growth. Prior to joining Proxima, Jonathan led PA Consulting Group’s international consultancy business in shared services and outsourcing, and ran operations in the UK, Central Europe, the Nordics, and the United States.

Gareth Evans

EVP, Chief Executive Officer - US

Gareth has overall responsibility for our U.S. business. This includes the development of new business opportunities and our strategy to ensure we deliver innovative and consistently high quality services. Gareth brings 18 years' of experience across procurement and professional services. As one of the earliest proponents of the procurement outsourcing market, Gareth has architected and delivered complex procurement solutions for organisations across the globe, working for firms such as PwC and Accenture.

Edward Winterschladen

EVP, Client Operations Director

Ed is responsible for Proxima meeting its contractual commitments at the same time as delighting our clients. Ed joined Proxima in 2004, having previously been a CPO for one of the UK’s largest hospitality groups.

Guy Strafford

EVP, Chief Client Officer

Guy is responsible for key client relationships, advising on procurement strategy and business development across Proxima. Guy joined Proxima in 1996 and was an Account Director for a range of clients for several years. Prior to training as a Chartered Accountant at KPMG, Guy studied politics, philosophy and economics at Oxford University. He is a regular speaker at conferences and commentator on the procurement industry. Guy is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants, and a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply.

Dan Collings

SVP and Head of US

Based in Chicago, Dan is responsible for driving sales and client delivery for the US and brings over 15 years’ experience of architecting and delivering procurement solutions across the globe. As a Client Delivery Director, Dan was accountable for the delivery, performance and profitability of Proxima engagements, leading procurement delivery teams in the US and Europe. He has deep sector experience in: Media and Entertainment, Professional Services, Retail, Travel and Hospitality, Food Manufacturing and Private Equity. Dan earned a degree in Business Administration and Management from the University of Bath, England, and is a member of The Chartered Institute of Purchasing and Supply and the Institute of Supply Management.

Clare Harris

Chief Operations Officer

Clare is responsible for delivering business insight through turning our data into relevant, actionable Management Information. Clare joined Proxima in 2005 and was a Programme Manager for some years before becoming Operations Director. Prior to Proxima, Clare held a series of international roles for Wal-Mart and was responsible for opening up new import markets in the Far East and India for Asda and Wal-Mart Germany. She was also instrumental in launching the Asda small store format across the UK. Clare has also held senior project management roles at American Express Europe.

Louise West

EVP, Chief Human Resource Officer

Louise is responsible for all aspects of the delivery of our people and recruitment strategy, ensuring that Proxima attracts and retains the best people across the world. Louise joined Proxima in 2012, bringing with her 20 years' of experience in HR. Prior to joining Proxima, Louise was at Accenture, where she held a variety of senior global HR roles, working across outsourcing and consulting.

Richard Jones

Chairman (Non-Executive)

In the course of his management career, Richard served at IBM, Digital, Andersen Consulting, Exult and AON Hewitt. Today amongst other projects, Richard is Chairman at Genfour, and is a Board Adviser at Blueprism and Ovation Incentives. Richard is also a member of an Advisory Panel serving Welsh Government.
