Defining what value means to you
With around 70% of a company’s cost base sitting with third-party suppliers, the external cost base is a significant source of value and risk. Businesses want to know they are getting value for money from every purchase and each supplier relationship. However, it is near impossible to always work with the best solutions or pay the best market cost. Solutions range from diagnostics to cost takeout and margin improvement programmes, all with a lens on sustainably transforming the cost base and delivering results that stick.
“Proxima’s input was central to our cost base transformation. They gave us more ideas, fast delivery, and bags of credibility.”
Enabling smarter procurement
Operating expenses tend to increase over time if left unchallenged, and in periods of high inflation, this effect is multiplied and can leave businesses under extreme financial stress. As business needs change and supply markets innovate, often driving increased quality or productivity, informed buyers can get better outcomes when they go to market. The challenge is having the capacity, capability, and insights to do so. ‘Transforming costs’ with Proxima means accessing specific services designed to, for example:
- Deliver immediate and longer-term sustainable cost savings
- Optimise processes to improve working capital or margin improvement
- Run large-scale transformation projects like outsourcing or digital initiatives.
