The MCA is the leading industry body for management consultancies in the UK, so we’re delighted to have been named as finalists in four MCA awards categories this year!

The Awards, now in their 24th year, will recognise the transformational work the sector has undertaken during the last twelve months as well as acknowledging the individuals who are having a significant impact both within their consultancy firm and with their clients.

2021 has been a challenging and extraordinary year, so we’re proud to see Proxima’s talented consultants and their exceptional skills recognised for their outstanding work, from delivering transformational cost-optimisation programmes in the private sector, to creating an inspiring team culture.

Proxima projects and individuals that have been announced as finalists for the 2021 MCA Awards include:

EFG Bank & Proxima – Change and Transformation in the Private Sector

Proxima’s partnership with EFG involved reengineering some of the existing ways of working within the business and elevating it to a position where a new, effective process for managing suppliers was successfully introduced and its colleagues felt empowered to build these relationships. Key outcomes of the project including reshaping £20 million-worth of relationships with suppliers across Facilities, HR, IT, Legal and Finance.

Julie Craig, Vice President – Team Leader of the Year

Simon Geale, Senior Vice President for Client Solutions – Thought Leader of the Year and Outstanding Achievement

Simon is tasked with changing the narrative around procurement at an industry level and laying the foundations for some of Proxima’s most innovative thinking, including leading Proxima’s market-leading research projects including the Finance Leaders Outlook and State of Spend reports, which highlight procurement’s value to businesses,

Ed Winterschladen, Executive Vice President, Europe, said: “We’re very proud that Proxima is being recognised by the leading industry body. It reiterates the quality of our work and the trust among our clients.”
