Local expertise with global reach
Established 30 years ago, Proxima has established firm roots in Europe and North America. Over that time, it has worked with some of the region’s largest and most recognizable brands, helping them address various cost, capability, and, more recently, sustainability challenges.
This step into APAC represents a significant and exciting investment, establishing a permanent home and team within the region to support both our global and local client delivery. Procurement is growing in strategic importance in the region, presenting a significant opportunity for businesses to enhance productivity and capabilities. This move enables us to leverage global category intelligence and commercial expertise and apply it in a local context for the benefit of our clients.
Having been acquired by Bain and Company in 2022, the integration also forms part of a “Strategy to Execution” offering that services Bain’s global client base. This move bolsters that offering by creating a simplified, best-in-class delivery platform. The combined Bain Proxima offering unlocks hundreds of millions of dollars in realized value annually.
Existing ArcBlue client relationships will continue seamlessly under the Proxima brand, allowing clients to benefit from enhanced global capabilities while maintaining the trusted relationships they’ve built.
Leading the expansion
Proxima’s Executive Vice President, Daniel Collings, is leading the business’s expansion in APAC, based out of the Melbourne office.
