The Supply Chain Barometer is a research report which aims to assess the attitudes of CEOs on topics that impact the roles of the Chief Procurement Officer, Supply Chain Director and their teams. It is an annual report released mid-way through the year to inform planning for the following year.

What are the main themes covered in the Supply Chain Barometer?

In this year’s Supply Chain Barometer, the research explored the amount of time CEOs are spending on supply chain issues, the current state of transparency and visibility in supply chains, the strategies being employed to build greater resilience. Additionally, it focuses on key topics including sustainability and the barriers to progress, effective adoption of AI, and attitudes and approach to cost (and cost reduction).

How was the research report created?

The research by independent insight agency Opinion Matters surveyed a cohort of 3,000 CEOs, spread geographically, located in the US (1,000), the UK (1,000), DACH (500), and Benelux (500). The CEOs also span multiple sectors.
