How we do business
‘Proxima with purpose’ is our responsible business strategy: a framework outlining the business we want to be and how we will get there. It addresses our vision for the future of sustainability, recognizing our role in society and how we will create opportunities that advance our employees and clients, along with our wider environment and society.
‘Proxima with Purpose’ directly supports the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs): a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet, now and into the future. We are committed to supporting these goals and focus on measuring our performance against six priority goals that most closely align with our business.

Climate Action
To move to net zero.
As part of Proxima’s prioritization of SDG 13, Climate Action, we have commenced our net zero journey and continue to invest in this initiative.
We monitor our carbon footprint to recognize its impact and take accountability by changing how we travel, investing in sustainable office spaces, and chairing knowledge-sharing events to support our decarbonization activities and net zero journey.
We have invested in two carbon-offsetting projects that enhance environmental protection and drive positive social and economic change in local communities. Although this approach is not an exclusive solution to addressing climate change, it represents our commitment to achieving net zero while reducing our impacts and ensuring we continue to evolve as an organization that delivers procurement with purpose.
