Training & Development
Our extensive training programs are there to complement your client work and make sure that you have the fundamentals to be successful in consulting. We run a wide variety of programs to suit those new to the workplace or those arriving with a wealth of experience from industry.
Your first six months will include a range of training opportunities, including a residential consulting skills course that you will undertake with other new team members. Throughout your time in Proxima, you will undertake bespoke training on topics such as Presentation Skills, Creative Thinking, Business Writing, Coaching and Mentoring, Health and Wellbeing, and Implicit Bias.
Personalized Growth
Beyond our Proxima training curriculum, we also provide support for professional accreditation and run an annual competition to win the chance to do an eMBA course.
Where there are other, more bespoke training needs or ambitions, the Proxima X-Fund provides successful applicants with funding for personal and professional development opportunities.
Opportunity to Travel
We work where our clients and their supply chains are, which means opportunities to travel domestically and internationally. A career in consulting can take you all over, and for many this is undoubtedly one of the perks of the job: going places and getting experiences which you ordinarily wouldn’t in another role. In addition to regular travel for client work, where possible, we support employees with secondment opportunities to allow them to experience working globally.
